Blenheim Palace achieves success with Venpos Online

Blenheim Palace, one of England’s Treasured Houses, turned to Vennersys in 2016 to help with the vital task of funding restoration and conservation projects. Having worked alongside Vennersys for many years for its wider ticketing solutions, the Blenheim Palace Heritage Foundation needed a solution to maximise Gift Aid. Thanks to the flexibility of Vennersys software and the dedication of their development team, Vennersys were able to develop an almost bespoke two-step system to convert donations to Gift Aid once visitors had purchased annual passes. The 24 hour, seven-day support available from Vennersys was key for the Palace which operates 364 days a year, welcoming around 800,000 visitors a year and processing 160,000 annual passes. Vennersys provides Kidzworld with ticketing and membership system

Kidzworld Family Adventure is Cornwall’s Award-Winning Adventure Play Centre, open seven days a week and with a footfall of 100,000 per year. A ticketing and membership system which ensured a smooth customer journey was vital for them, alongside an effective reporting system to inform key management decision-making. Vennersys was able to offer a completely new integrated till admissions system, comprehensive CRM solution and reporting system. Allowing customers to purchase general tickets online in advance which can be printed at home or shown on a customer’s own mobile device, was a key development for customer convenience. The Vennersys team helped to support Kidzworld staff throughout the journey, from till programming to adaptation of the current system to promote one-off events.

Venners provide Scottish Seabird Centre with much-needed upgrade

As a self-funded charity, the Scottish Seabird Centre must carefully assess where money is spent, but its existing IT systems were in urgent need of an upgrade. They had become unreliable, liable to break down and were unable to provide the visitor data the Centre needed for marketing and forward planning. The current systems were unable to process Gift Aid donations electronically, meaning a lengthy form-filling process for staff and visitors, while the existing membership system was unable to provide effective reporting on individual member spend and behavior or cater for a more secure photo ID system. Vennersys were able to offer a completely new integrated admissions system, comprehensive CRM solution and electronic point of sale system for the Scottish Seabird Centre which is used throughout the organisation. Being fully integrated the Venpos system can process Gift Aid donations electronically saving both time for the visitor and for staff, while also being instantly visible within the internal accounting system. Offering 24 hour seven-day support was also key for the Centre as a seven-day operation – welcoming around 270,000 visitors annually - with busy weekend peak periods.
