Vennersys


Empire Theatres bring Vennersys into the picture
Canadian cinema circuit, Empire Theatres, installed the Vista cinema application, supplied under licence by Vennersys, in its 54 sites. Empire selected Vista after a very detailed trial of the software and extensive market research. Vennersys managed the roll-out using staff from both its Canadian and UK offices. The first site in Sydney, Nova Scotia, went live in September 2008 and the last site was completed in January 2009.

Blenheim Palace welcomes VENPoS
Blenheim Palace, one of the UK’s most beautiful and cherished country estates, implemented Vennersys’ VENPoS solution to manage visitor admissions and retail sales in its gift shops and restaurants. A range of wireless mobile devices were installed to ensure that admissions could be efficiently managed at all entry points to the huge estate. The flexibility of VENPoS allows Blenheim Palace’s estate management team to monitor revenue streams from all its activities in a single package.

Longleat Safari Park

Vennersys began working with Longleat Safari Park in 2002 when the park management selected ticketing solutions from Vennersys to replace its cash register-based ticketing and admissions system, to support business growth. In 2003, Longleat extended its use of the VENPoS solution to cover the estate's catering sales. In 2004, the business selected the VENPoS Online solution, offering visitors the ability to purchase tickets on the internet, thereby giving Longleat new CRM capabilities.


Vue Cinemas
Vue cinemas completed a major IT overhaul which involved adding new point-of-sale and head office technology to its 50+ multi-screen cinema circuit nationwide. Around 700 point-of-sale terminals and 150 self-service kiosks were installed with Vennersys’ Vista software. Voice recognition software and online ticketing solutions were also part of its queue-busting project.

Dudley Zoo
Dudley Zoo selected VENPoS software solutions to modernise its admissions process, dramatically improve ticketing and allow the electronic capture of Gift Aid. Dudley Zoo’s reporting capabilities have massively improved since the solution was rolled out. They now benefit from a fully automated close of day system, which allows for central cash control of all tills. It also includes a complete stock system.

Deep Sea Leisure
Deep Sea Leisure aquariums selected Vennersys’ VENPoS solutions to manage admissions (online and on-site), retail shop sales, catering, memberships and event management for educational tours and dive bookings. Benefits cited include faster admissions, increased revenue and cash flow, improved customer service levels, increased cash control, more accurate stock control and improved reporting.
