Kings Head Theatre, Islington, London
Christie Finance enabled the UK’s first ever pub theatre to be acquired by the wife of its founder. The 120-seat theatre, located in the pub’s back room, has won numerous awards for its productions, many of which have transferred to the West End and Broadway.
Crown Point Inn near Sevenoaks, Kent
Christie Finance funded the purchase of the Crown Point Inn near Sevenoaks, Kent, by Quercus Partners Ltd, which has since leased the business to managed pub operator Orchid Group. The substantial character property features an open-plan bar and two dining rooms.
The Bell Inn, Clare, Suffolk
Christie Finance funded the leasehold purchase of this 16th Century inn by first-time buyer Mr Darren Humphries. The inn is located in the delightful old Suffolk wool town of Clare and has a bar/lounge area, two restaurant areas and 16 en suite letting bedrooms.
Caer Menai Guest House, Caernarfon, Gwynedd
Using its extensive contacts within the lending institutions, Christie Finance was able to provide funding for Mr and Mrs Dobson’s purchase of Caer Menai Guest House in North Wales, thereby enabling their exciting new start in the guest house/hotel sector.

Moorfield Group
Christie Finance assisted Moorfield Group in raising significant debt funding on three of the Shearings Hotels it owns in the North East. Having been approached by Moorfield – the real estate investor, developer and private equity fund manager – regarding its financing plans on these three investments, Christie Finance was able to assist in securing the necessary funds from a leading UK bank.
Double Finance deal
Christie Finance assisted Mr Baldev Bhathal, a buyer from Middlesex, with the purchase of two established stores located in Carshalton, Surrey. Loans were secured with two separate high street lenders to enable Mr Bhathal to buy the Costcutter and Londis businesses simultaneously.

Finance helps first-time buyers purchase Kylesku Hotel in Sutherland
Christie Finance helped first-time buyers Tanja Lister and Sonia Virechauveix finance their purchase of Kylesku Hotel on the shores of Loch Glendhu and Loch Glencoul in Sutherland. The historic coaching inn includes a bar, restaurant, lounge and eight letting bedrooms.

Tailor-made finance for Enzo’s Wine Bar & Brasseria
Christie Finance secured the funding required for Mr Tran, a tailor in London’s West End, to purchase Enzo’s Wine Bar & Brasseria in Woking, Surrey. The prominently situated town centre wine bar includes a first floor restaurant and terrace.

The Lion, Needham Market, Suffolk
Christie Finance secured 100% funding for the acquisition of The Lion public house in Needham Market, Suffolk, for Martin and Marisa Hookham. They had been the pub’s tenants for 23 years and had refurbished the premises to a high standard during this time.

Eyemouth General Store, Berwickshire
Despite tough market conditions, Christie Finance secured 100% funding at excellent terms to assist our client with the purchase of this well-known store which trades as a newsagent, but also offers a wide range of DIY products, toiletries, hardware and convenience items.
